Installed! ->Keyless entry keypad
Aha! Thanks to another thread on non-performance mods (Thanks Professor!), I found the fordacessories website and just ordered this:
http://www.fordaccessories.com/produ...tryKeypad.aspx
It's my first "mod" (not counting the back floormats...hehe)....pretty tame I know, but it will come in handy the first time wifey or I lock the keys in the car
I have a keyless keypad on my 2000 Excursion---it's made me develop bad key habits!! So happy to find this...

RE: Keyless entry keypad
Can someone please tell me how these stick to the car? Is it possible for someone to just pull it off by hand or steal it? Other than the door where else would anyone suggest hiding it?

So ya, easily stolen, and reprogrammed for thier car. At least doesnt damage car if there nice about it.
Im sure it runs on batteries. I wonder how you change them. I think id pass on this option. Too many thiefs around here.
And for hiding it. Just as easy to hide a key then.
One50nPUMP has a good place on the pickup tho. not sure about the stang.

from the site that Hambone linked. "Keyless pad adheres to vehicle and is removable without damaging vehicle. "

Maybe I'll mount it under the rear spoiler, on the truck lid [8D] Actually, I wonder if it will mount inside the gas fill cover? Hrmm...I'll have to be imaginative.
As far as hiding a key---you must not have any kids! It's a great thing for them to know the code so they can get in/out of a vehicle (at the ball park, pool, etc.). That's the good thing about aftermarket/addons--we can each get what we need or want

RE: Keyless entry keypad
You have some good ideas on where to hide it at least! Yeah I have a 6yr old. Now I just hit the remote and unlock for him. Or give him the key fob to go to car. Still need remote to disarm my alarm. As soon as you hit keyless pad my alarm sounds.
Yeah, pics when u get it on too! and the code
