Well plans didn't work out... Do they ever haha? Well we put the new front shocks and springs in... It was a PITA because we were idiots and did it wrong haha... But I took some pictures when I remembered to. The difference in the springs is huge!

I have a problem though... I only go the front on, but now every time I hit even the smallest bump it goes clunk really loud... I know all the bolts are on tight, torqued to 80 pounds even.. Not only that, but there is literally like only 7 bolts on each thing to change out...

Here are the pictures anyway... I need help figuring out my problem though.. I will post in a handling section also..

Here is the stock drivers side...

This is the difference in the spring and shocks...

Next pics are just after we let her down.. Only the front is lowered atm... I need to fix the clunk problem...

The clunking could be the strut mounts failing due to the lowering springs or the sway bar end links not being tightened enough. Those seem to be the most common reasons anyway
Beautiful car where in Colorado are you at?

How do I know if the strut mounts are failing? I mean they have like 700 miles on them haha.. But yeah again how do I know if they are failing? I did see that that the part of the strut that sticks through the strut mount into the engine bay, the one with the nut on the end, is not on the strut mount, it is like 2-3 inches above it, so the nut on the bolt isnt doing jack crap.. Why would this be? I am going down tomorrow after lunch to put the rest of the system in, and to try and figure out what is wrong with the front part. Everything was torqued to 80 lbs... Highest the torque wrench went..

I am also in Colorado Springs...

So apparently my problem is that the 2011 Strut mounts are different from the 2010 mounts. The difference is the 2011 strut mounts dont have the strut isolator on them, the 2 inch little rubber piece, so I am going to have to get some 2010 strut mounts, I am looking at the 2010 GT500 upper strut mounts to use, or i will have LRS take my suspension back, and then wait for the 2011 Eibach system to actually come out... that or I will use the ford racing springs... But I will actually call eibach or ford racing to ensure that parts will fit exactly...
