Every time I wash the car it seems like there is new damage like fins bent over.
+1, mine is pretty beat up aswell. Especially from when I ventured off the road one time.

Silverhorse Racing makes a matching lower grille for the GT bumper. About $60, looks factory. Available here.

Not bad. I'd still want to attach some screen material to the back of it.

Look into some gutter screen from HD or Lowes. Might have to look hard to find it for 5 or 6 inch gutter. If that's wide enough, just paint it flat black, and zip tie it in place. That was the solution for my Honda Odyssey, has worked great.

This is an old thread... Bmr4life has a new ride now... Nice idea though.

Apologies/thanks. It's just that I'm getting my first Mustang delivered in a couple of days, and it looks like I'm going to face the same problem, so I started looking for solutions here. Nice thing about these boards is - there are few problems that [I]somebody[I] hasn't already run into and figured out - so I was looking around to see if there was a better solution than the gutter screen one.

This is what I did to prevent it from happening again. Upper and Lower Billet Grilles.

ha, so Im gonna reresurrect this old thread cause i found it on google. I dropped my 2010 GT off at ford and they wont cover it under warrenty because I apparently ran something over that bent my condenser and caused a massive leak. The plastic under the front valence is split open (under the car) and leads straight to a big bend in the condenser. They are asking over a $1000!!!!!! That and with no warrenty coverage... :/ this also includes a $200 cosmetic peice of plastic that goes under the car which I would not replace. I dont know where these $400 quotes are coming from, cause parts alone are $400+ (OEM)
