We'll see a new platform with the 50th anniversary. I can hardly wait.

I lost mine in an unfortunate accident. The day I went to get my belongings and plates and saw the car in its state I actually teared and cringed. That's how much our stangs mean to us. I'm not a big fan of the 2010+ body styling either, but the superior improvement in the interior has me thinking twice.

Yep, LOVE IT!!! I am not so up on the 2010/2011 rear. Like the 05 - 09's much better.

But that is only my opinion.

The 2010/2011 are awesome cars, I am not slamming them. I just can't get over the rear end for some reason.

After 4 years and 50k miles I still look back and admire the car whenever I park it anywhere. I'm an old guy and IMHO the 05-09 body design is as American-retro as it could ever have been. With the huge aftermarket, I have made this car exactly as I wanted a car to be. I like the 10-11s as well, but it's modern, sleeker design cues are concessions to recent Euro/Asian styling that Ford had to incorporate in order to gain traction worldwide. To me, the jury is still out on the 5.0L powertrain. I agree with Mustangmaster, if I ever sell this car, 20 years from now it will be "the one car I used to have that I should have kept".

LOL, that's exactly what I do! The front cupholder is pretty much useless, but if you take the false floor out of the behind one, it's good for most cans and fastfood cups

I ordered my 2009 back august of 2008. I waited over 5 year to get the money for a good sports car. After driving a few other cars from BWM and Dodge found that the only car that did what I wanted was in mustang and I never like the mustang until the great change in the 2005 body style. Plus getting a car that came with a manual gearbox was the best choice of all and of course that was standard on the mustang. Now if I could do it over I would have hunted down a Shelby GT and I would never look back. Really was planning on keeping the car for the long haul (30Years+) but now I see a Boss 302 now and I really don’t want to past that up this time.

O and when I said ordered my name was on the sticker at the dealership when the car showed up so I keeping that sticker forever. Not bad for a 23 year old at the time.

Granted I've only had mine for about 14 months now, I still love it. Don't love my bank account balance thanks to it but that's all part of the fun. Of all the different cars, trucks and SUVs I've driven, I have to say that my car currently is my favorite of all of them. And that includes a few benzes, Lexus's, decent stuff
