I am on my second S197 now, and I have loved both of them. My '07 had 48,000 miles on it when i traded it for my '11, it had only 25 miles on it when I got it May of '07. The S197 is by far my favorite Mustang. Followed closely by the late '60's fastbacks, then the SN95's.

Got my sixxer may of 07, Got it with just shy of 20k and a banging deal on her. Im at 90k on her clock. She still has got alot of life in her. She hasnt done me wrong yet. Only minor wear and tear problems, and a couple sets of tires later she still purrrs like new.

I'm so happy Ford reinvented the Legend! I only have 8K miles on mine!
To drive it is to like it more!

And what would you do with an independent rear?
My guess is that you wouldn't know the difference (no offense).

My '06 GT is four years old today and with 11k miles, I can honestly say that this is the best new car I ever bought. I just can't bring myself to make it a dd as much as I love it.
It has only been in the rain once and has never seen snow or ice. I hope to keep this car forever.

Blue GT Mustang, wouldn't you like to have a second Mustang so you could use one of them as your daily driver? Mine is my daily driver. It would drive me nuts to drive another car each day and have to leave the Mustang at home every day. It's my only car so I have to drive it. Glad of it though.

I personally love my mustang, and I know that when the time comes (and it will), I will have a hard time trading it for an old gto.

Also, I would be upset if ford gave the mustang an independent rear. The mustang has had it for almost 50 years, and I would hope that they wouldn't change it for another 50. Even though it's outdated.

Well, the topic is about it being out for 5 years, but I've had my '08 GT/CS for just over 5 weeks. I find myself taking the long way to drop off the mail or pick up stuff at Office Depot just so I can let loose, even if only a little.

I can already see myself keeping this car for the rest of my life. One day there might be an SUV out on the street, but the Mustang will be in the garage ready to go.
