Just so most of you people with sunburned necks that when you see a say no to crack and you pull up your pants types. Who don't pay attention much and think anything with the same bullit wheels and v8 engines with flowmasters is the holy grail of muscle cars. The dub edition uses many parts most of you allready have on your 2010-11 mustangs you know from those mustang faithfull tuners like roush/cdc/eibach? In other words it has the same fake side scoops you put on your cars the same non functional window louvers the same lowering springs same front fascia same side splitters same rear bumper etc. Only difference is the badging and its sold as a package

looks more like a Mainstream sort of appeal.

I'd much rather have a $4,500 M90 or $5,800 R2300 supercharger upgrade option lulz

Like a few others have said, the car isn't nearly as . . . extreme as the name "Dubs" suggests. The wheels are a little too big and just a tad too flashy for me (I'm 62, never did like the shiny stuff, and haven't seen a wheel I like better on these cars than the 2008 GT500/SVT).

Your point is taken with respect to most of your muscle car build-according-to-formula stereotype. Actual performance aside (I'm thinking of the new 3.7L here), for anybody who remembers the original muscle cars a V8 is pretty much a requirement for the audible part of a traditional muscle car's character. Not as many are willing to "bend" on that point as on any of your others.

There's no getting around it, people make associations with many words. "Dubs" to me is nothing more than its original "definition" of oversized wheels that are out of proportion to the rest of the car (makes standard brakes look scrawny, for one thing, draws your eyes away from the body lines for another) and done purely for show and shock value.

As far as word association goes - I'd defy anybody to make a go of it selling "Lawrence Welk Edition" anything in most any urban or even suburban neighborhood. Even "Deluxe" isn't going to work any more.
