I've had the TCS cause me to bog down going WOT from both a roll and a dig. At first I suspected it was the fuel pump (TSB) but I noticed one time when it happened that the dash icon for "TCS Active" (car with squiggley lines) lit up. My rear tires were beginning to spin and TCS cut fuel. Pretty embarassing. Unless the roads are wet, I turn it off.

But as mentioned above, turning TCS off with a tune will not allow you to re-enable it. There ARE times when it's prudent to have TCS on.

With the relay addition ( from the link you posted earlier ) you can turn it back on. It basically reversed the default for traction control.

The mod works great. Just be sure and use crimp connectors or solder the connections; I just had to open up the dash and redo mine because I took the easy way out and used one of those quick splice connectors. After about a year I was seeing random results. I did a nice crimp job this time around and it's back in business. Those quick splice connectors don't seem to work well because the TCS signal wire is so small; it doesn't have much to bite onto.

Lesson learned I guess.
