Are you going to paint the top part of the mirror White? Sorry if you already answered this question.

Great job! glad there are more decent options instead of just the A-47 or that weird xenon cover thingy.

Ok...got em...

Foam removed....ahhh the tabs!

Tabs removed:

Foam back on:

Didnt have to wallow out main hole. Expanded smaller ones top and back then made a new hole between large and small front one about 1/2" up from the smaller hole.

You can place the unit against it and move it to mark the paint where to drill.

I didnt have to drill out to 1/2" holes. just bumped it up enough to clear.

I also used touch up paint on the metal so there wouldnt be any rust issues.

put it on - nut & plug it in.

Ext shot:

Now snap on covers....being careful not to break them (as I did)

A little 3M tape and whalla.....:

Better pix of overall car when it cools down a bit....

Had I realized this could be done before I got my A47's I would have done this, I like these better. Maybe the next time I break a mirror off on the garage door, lol.

Good job, looks nice...but yeah, maybe if I happen to break one of them I would go for the upgrade ( I like the blind spot on the mirror ) but otherwise matchin color mirror covers on the stock ones are fine for now.
