You have to disconnect the steering shaft in the engine bay, then take off the two bolts that hold it inside the car. From there, you have about 8 more bolts and then it comes right out. Of course you have to disconnect some of the harness, but it isn't to bad.

and what happened to the "donor car"
somewhere there is a wrecked GT500 providing for this transplant.

It was a theft recovery with a salvaged title... In FL you can't ever register a salvage title...

I'm sorry to hear about your spun rod bearing, that would have killed my mojo.
