Guess I shouldn't say "We told you so"...

After I installed my CAI & tune, I said "I need stickier rubber 'cuz I can no longer hook-up."

I dont necessarily mean I fly red lights and weave in an out of traffic. But I do like to get on it more so than not, but to the point where I know enough is enough.

Hah I remember when I did this, except I went with the 93 race tune from Chris Rose.. chirping 2nd was a nice surprise indeed lol, especially with 19" 275s (Goodyear GS-D3s!)

The only bummer is that you don't really have any "cheap" mods to look forward to now. It's pretty much blower time.

Grats on the upgrade man! I'm in your shoes too being young and all and soon having my 5.0. With any luck (which I'm lacking lately) I'll have it on Saturday! I can't wait to get it and play with it and then probably quickly mod it lol.

I'm thinking I'm going to go more appearance first though and then later on throw on a CAI/Tune to really rejuvinate my spirit to go jump into the stang

Would a tune and a CIA on a 05-09 GT get the 0-60 down to maybe lets say 4.7 seconds?

Is there two different types of Tunes you can perform?

I have seen pictures of peoples car hooked up to a Dyno getting a tune and then I read your post where you "ordered" a tune?

I'm pretty sure I understand that you can have your car tuned on a Dyno but is there a "chip" you buy with a pre-programed tune which is Plug n Play?

Torched GT -- I know what you mean when I heard the chirp of my 275 pirellis on 19's I was shocked. My next "cheap" mod will be installing my 4.10s for $275 and than yeah its probably header and supercharger time lol

pdonket -- Goodluck man I hope everything goes well. I know what you mean about modding soon lol I had boxes on my porch before I even picked up the car, but definately do the intake and tune first I HIGHLY reccomed it and theyve been getting pretty good number out of the new 5.0's

07BLACKGT -- I have been hearing this alot I cant wait!!!

onegoal -- Depends on what you do 0-60 now. The 2010's with a track pack (3.73's) are capable of 4.7 stock. So depending on that gears you have it is very well possible.
