I have 20inch rims and the widest i could go on the rear was 295/30/20 i know its not an 18 but that should give you some type of idea on width at least.

I wanted a 305 tire but after putting my 10 inch wide wheel on there i think a 295 is the biggest you can fit. The wheel was about 2 inches from the car. My guess is you cant go that wide without wheel spacers

I have 18x10s with a +40 offset (FR500s) with 315/30/18s on the back with no issues at all...not even close to rubbing and using no spacers

That's good to know! I want to go from 275's to 305's I have 20's with the same offset, so it should definitely work!

I thought the 18x18 FR500s had more of an offset than that...???

18x8.5 50mm offset rims with 275/40ZR18s fit just fine...

315/30 on 18 x 10 x +40mm vs 235/50 on 18 x 8.5 x +50mm

Right rear looking from behind.
