If you ever get the chance dont pass it up, the sound while standing beside one of those engines at full afterburner is amazing. Sounds and feels like a top fuel dragster running laps around your head.

It would be nice, unfortunatly they dont give out rides here... Not even to the guys that keep the jets running. Long story short but something to do with a lady several years ago was told just before take off to secure her canopy latch in the back seat... Confussion in which handle translated to canopy being blown off and laying beside the jet... that pretty much ended all the fun for us... Ahh well maybe at my next base.

Yeah, I figured they are probably pretty strict. I had a family member in the navy and they wouldn't even let us go on base to bring him lunch. But damn what a great ride it must be to be in one of those jets.
