Default Lost my 2005 GT, got a 2011 GT

A few months ago, my 2005 GT was totaled. Someone thought it would be ok to pull out on the road without checking to see if anyone was coming and within a second, my car was gone. The damage didn't look too bad but the body shop found alot of hidden damage and insurance wrote me a check instead of fixing my car. It was hard to accept. I had that car brand new for 5 years and I wanted to keep it as long as I could. But things happen.

So I went and ordered a new GT. For what I could afford, it made sense to buy another GT. Sterling Grey (2005 was black wanted a break) brembo brake package, 3.73 gears, red interior, and a manual. I expected to be impressed. I read all the reviews and comments from other members here. Everyone seemed to have praise for the car. I finally got the car last week. When I finally drove it, something unexpected happened. The car felt exactly like my 2005 felt. I thought it would feel fast and more composed when going around corners. I expected a better interior. I didn't expect the car to make me feel the joy I had when I got the 2005. Back then, I went from regular transportation to something that was so much fun to drive. After 5 years, it became normal to drive it. That is what I expected from the 2011, but it is such a fantastic car. I am so thankful that this car is so much fun. It makes losing my 2005 a little easier.

I swear I was going to say that same thing word for word, congrats on the new car and enjoy it! I would probably feel the same about my car if I lost it, all 6 cylinders of it.

I echo what everyone has said so far. As far as liking it....how can you not? It's a new Mustang. Who wouldn't want that? Nice looking car for sure. I'm sure you didn't want to lose your 2005 but, this is the best replacement you can get. Enjoy that nice ride!!!!!

Love the wheels man. Feels real new to me, not chrome or black. Looks real sharp, nice color too! Not my type of interior but outside is nice
