Default Advancing Global Spark +2 deg

I was reading a post from an ex techco programmer talking about advancing the timing to 19-20 deg for 93 octane fuel, and up to 22 for forged engines.

I data logged mine and at full load I was reaching 17-18deg. I advanced the global spark +2. I have not data logged yet, but...

The car feels like it is on steroids... Like I just put 4.10 gears and headers on. Super aggressive, and even the fuel consumption improved by at least 1 mpg-my kind of driving. Last dyno I did was a while ago and it was showing 462rwhp and 458ftlbs with the 17-18deg Timing uncorrected at 50's temp and couple of hundred feet above sea level. Thats prior some minor mods of a 62mm throttle body and weapon X Cops.

Do you think I may be asking too much from my stock internals?
The car feels super right now. I would hate to return it back to the old timing...lol

Hard to say without a wide-band sensor in there.
