I've been thinking about the same thing. Although back in the late sixties the CS did have a mustang badge below the side stripe, it might be too much on the side maybe decals on the hood.

Slap a nice aftermarket exhaust on it, that will announce the presence of the 5.0 in a much more authoritative manner.

Yeah I think it is FAIL of Ford to put the GT/CS where the 5.0 goes. I would not order that package SPECIFICALLY for that reason. I would want my 5.0 badge. The 5.0 badge is an American icon and should be proudly displayed on every 5.0 car now that the engine is back.

If you must put them on it, make it a matching design decal that goes behind the front wheel well on the rocker panel like the '68-'70 Pontiac's.

That's what I did. I am intrigued by pascals idea of a hood emblem. I might look into that.

Any chrome badge would look like **** imo, but a black one would look cool.

What about placing it in the grille opposite of the tri bar? If I had to have one that's where I'd put it, but I'm more in the less is more camp and if you really want to know then ask or keep guessing.
