Angry Brenspeed no longer free shipping

I don't see anyone talking about this, so maybe it's not a big deal. For those who don't know it looks like no matter what you purchase you'll pay a $15 shipping fee. Kinda disappointing because that was one of Brenspeed's major selling points to folks. So if this has been mentioned and I'm just now becoming aware, when did this happen?

Not sure but doesn't hurt my feelings, I guess they got tired of getting screwed with free shipping so they want to nickel and dime now.

Was never free for me living on Maui anyway. Nothings free if you really think about it, somebody has to pay the freight bill. They still have some of the best customer service i have ever received.

They want $14.99 whether you buy a 150 lbs worth of blower, or some small item. Its more than fair when you consider other places want to charge as much as $150 to ship a blower.

Then don't buy an oil filter from there, lol. I'm guessing they thought of this already, and the $1 they were making on the oil filter probably wasn't worth the $100~ it was costing them to turn around a ship a blower. Just a hunch anyway...

wow...what a non topic.

compare the S/H rates of most places against theirs. $15 is nothing in the grand scheme of things. But I guess if you are trying to cut every penny off, go elsewhere

Wow lots of negative posts. Like I said brenspeed and free shipping were one of their biggest selling points and we shop online for deals, or else we would just go to a store or buy from a dealership so for those who like paying $15 for shipping then I'm happy for you. A good point was made with the freight items, and I'm not sure how brenspeed or am do it and make money but being in retail I can tell you they are getting that $5 oil filter for like .40 and selling it for $5, retail doesn't work if they don't make money to cover expenses plus profit. Even when people give out discounts or sales, they are still making money that is just the way the cookie crumbles. It just sucks to spoil a good thing for so many years but as they say all good things have to come to an end sometime.

Shipping was never free. It used to just be hidden in the price of most things. Now you can see it.
