HID Fog Light question

HID Fog Light question
A buddy of mine just gave me an HID fog light kit that has the H11 bulbs. The set came with the bulbs, balasts, and the wiring. The HID's are new in the box and have never been installed.
My question is on the brand. They are from a company called Xentec. I dont know the color temp or anything else. What I want to know is this a good brand? I googled them and all I can find is Ebay listings for like $40 so I am a bit worried as to the quality. And is there a write up on how to install?

I did a quick Google search (at work so it had to be a quickie... Of course, nothing is WRONG with a quickie, but I'm just rambling...) and wasn't pleased with what I saw. Check this out: http://www.mobilehid.com/philips-review.htm There were other results mentioning early failures. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/light...onversion.html
But I also suggest you satisfy yourself with a search.

Well, thats what I figured. Im still gonna install them and if they fail Ill either put the OEM's back in or get a better kit. How about install instructions? They dont have them in the box. My friend who gve them to me got them for his Chevy Avalanche but didnt want to install them after he found out it was a PITA to install in his truck. As long as its an H11 bulb it souldnt be a problem right?

I have OEM HID's in the headlights, I was installing the H11's in the fogs. Are they just plug and play and mount the ballast or is it more involved?
