JD Finlay manned up and dynoed his Saleen supercharged Stang!
So, as the title states, I finaly took my cheap but to the dyno and paid to see what I'm making. I figured I would be looking at 450-480RWHP. My exact words I used were, "If all is right in the world and I get a good run, it would be nice to see 485." Well the results shocked me.
But before I get into that theres two places I need to thank.
1. Brenspeed. Bought most my parts from there, always great advice, and currently running there tune. Mail order as I have never been on a dyno before.
2. Swift Performance in Norwich CT. http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/
I paid for 3 pulls with air fuel. I got to say, these guys know what there doing. Had a very good conversation with them between all my dyno pulls, gave me some ideas as to what I can do in the future, and gave me some advice on what I can data log with my SCT to see where some of my other mods are at. Such as how to tell if I'm maxing my injectors and such. Paid $90 out the door for 3 pulls with air/fuel but they were very good about it. They did 3 warm up and calibrating runs, and a bunch of pulls, ended up with 10 log files. They were very resonable, such as after we switched it off for a few minutes to cool down, when we started back up, what would have been like the 5th pull, had some stuttering cause these cams dont like going off and on. Gave it another 2 minutes of idle and gave me 3 more pulls! I think you get the idea, cant say enough about how good these guys are, and did not even know we had a dyno in South East CT!!!
So as for the results. Sorry about the pic, had to save it as a negative to make it visible, there printer was acting up.
Yeah thats right! 536 HP! (close enough) I was shocked, really happy with that number, aside from the fact that I know I need tons more supporting mods now! Assuming 15% loss though, making 630hp. Very Very Happy.

Ugh . . . another one more powerful than me!
In all seriousness congrats. Those are some AWESOME numbers. If you lived closer I'd be even more afraid of every yellow Mustang I see. The one yellow one I currently keep an eye out for is Hammer's.

My thoughts exactly, thank you all for the props. Working on the video where it almost launched off the dyno ;-) Surprised us all with how much power it was making had to add another set of straps.

Here was the first video, it took a while to load it:

You can see how much it was lifting itself up. We had to break out the second set of straps to keep if from launching off the dyno.
