Sucks =/... I'd call ford and have them cut you another key. Its going to cost you a few $$ but atleast no paint or anything will be damaged. I locked myself out a few days ago, luckily I had the spare at home

What I've seen done (which you'll probably see AA do) is they wedge the window open about a 1/4" to 1/2" (since there is no frame around the window), and then bend a heavy wire tool and tap the unlock button.

I've locked myself out a few times. The first was literally 2 hours after I got a spare made!

That is why you use the key fob and not the powerlock feature in the car..

if you dont have 2 keys already it will be a little more $$$ to get a new one made. I think they have to reprogram the ignition and and original key along with the new one.

Reread the owners manual...
If the key is in the ignition, and you lock the doors
via the door lock button, the drivers door will unlock.
Its called "Smart Lock" and its in the Locks and Security
section of the Owners Manual.

"she was on the phone...."
ROFLMAO
Jesss, any amount of searching would
produce the 'get a second key' response
without signing up on the Forum.

Know your key code like your birthday
and maybe even use it as one of your
many PINs to further enhance the
remembering process...

If you had the key code, any reputable
locksmith could have cut you one for cheapola.
The bad news is you actually bought a
PATS equipped vehicle that only came with
one key. Thats a big NO-NO.
Its going to cost you an arm and a leg
to get another PATS key programmed
to your stang. Its easy peasy when you
have two programmed keys.
(i have 4 keys and 4 fogs currently
programmed - cheap - thanks eBay)
AuotLock sucks just for this reason
and should be disabled right away
(owners manual for the process).

Page 53...
I can just hear her now.
"I have a nail appointment in 15 minutes.
Get on the Internet and sign up with one
of those Mustang Forums and ask them
what to do... Post Haste I am waiting"

KerrrSnapppp

(thats the sound of a whip)
