The only picture I can find of the one car not in my sig that I wish I'd kept.
First new car.

It's not exactly stock.

Funny you should say this. My parents were pretty much against American vehicles. We had a Ford Torino station wagon, a really old car from the '60s, it was okay until it suffered a misfiring piston, which made the engine shake horribly, seriously prematurely fatiguing and eventually destroying the motor mounts and shaking all the nuts and bolts loose on various things in the rest of the car. My dad, being as cheap as he was, instead of getting the engine properly fixed, tried to do it backyard style. He and some of his friends bought compression gauges and timing lights I was to young to even understand anything cars (I was probably 4 or 5) but I bet the offending cylinder had no compression. Either bad rings (and associated massive oil burning) or the head was F***ed. But in the end, if the car were fixed right, it probably would still be running today.

We had another really old car, an 80's GMC van (I swear it must have been the A-Team's van), and that car lasted until over 200,000 miles and absolutely no engine rebuild. The tranny was replaced once, and some other typical stuff, minor stuff that eventually does wear out: Water pump, alternator, and the body was falling apart around, minor stuff really: ***** falling off, the cloth headliner coming loose, holes in the seats from decades of use, but that GMC engine never gave up the ghost, even when we eventually sold it a few years ago.

I at one time drove a Mazda Protoge, an 03 I think. Drove that thing into the ground , probably put over 200K miles on it (well, I actually got it when it already had about 150K or 160K miles on it).
