New Mustang Owners - What Was Your Previous Car?
I'm sure this will get a few laughs, but before I bought my mustang, I had a Toyota Yaris. That's right, a 106 hp Toyota Yaris to a 2011 mustang GT.

02 Subaru WRX. Traded up to the GT because I wanted more performance and refinement. I know a lot of people might not see a Mustang as refined, but try commuting in an 8 year old modified Subaru sometime. The wind/road/drivetrain/exhaust noise made it impossible to listen to the radio at any reasonable level of volume. One of the things I like most about the new GT is that it's dead quiet at cruise, but you can really hear the exhaust when you lay into it.
Also, it somehow manages to get ~1mpg less than the 2.0L 4 banger in my WRX =)

73 VolksWagon Super Beetle with a 79HP 1600CC engine.
Drove it to high school in the early 80s and just could
not kill it. It was driven until the purchase of the stang
in 2007.
So I have had a total of two vehicles.
Some of the forum members go thru
American Made vehicles like water, do they not?
