Wow, congrats man! I do agree that they are on the high side (based on what I have witnessed in person) but more power to you....literaly.

Thanks guys! I'm surprised myself, but the dyno sheet doesn't lie. I've heard that Ford underrated these cars, like they have for years. I just thought I'd share with everyone.

Yeah, you're right. I think nothing makes HP. And that extra 45 RWHP must be from the X-pipe...

Nuke, it could just be the dyno.

what were your stock numbers?

I never did dyno it when it was stock. Quess I should have. I know it wasn't a Mustang dyno. I've heard those will always give you lower readings

Nice. Glad to see a strong motor. That said, without the stock numbers on that same dyno, the new numbers don't really tell us a whole lot.

Nuke,

Most '11 5.0's dyno around 360rwhp with 0-500 miles on them. Around the 1.5-2000 mile mark, most '11 5.0's dyno around 380-390. An X-Pipe is a major power adder on the 5.0, usually 15-25rwhp, with 20+ to be had from a long tube header, as well. An intake, X-Pipe, and tune will usually net 410-425rwhp, adding in the long tubes, another 20 on top of that.

Thanks, VistaBlue. I wasn't aware of that. If that's true then I'm certainly reconsidering adding a 5.0 to the stable.

I've seen about 3-4 dyno results on stock and tuned 5.0's and, so far, the numbers have been in the 350-360 range stock; 375-385 tuned. I wouldn't expect a thousand or so miles to loosen an engine up that much, nor an X-pipe to add much power, if any, but I'm listening.

Those of you with 5.0's: as you dyno, keep us posted. I'm liking your engine more and more.

Here's another car that made 430 to the wheels. He dyno'd about 390 stock though after his motor broke in....
