anyone else here feel stupid for getting a mod then installing it then putting it away for winter 3 days later? I really really want to drive it but with possible snow tomorrow don't want to risk it

Ha! You're right about that. Living in the northern climates is a real disavantage in this hobby!

But it does give you plenty of time to make those mods that you've been thinking about. You just can't enjoy them until spring.

I hear ya there, i just bought some GT sways from a guy on another forum. Getting shipped now, but at least i'll have time to get the poly bushings and the correct bolts for it.

Kinnda retros back to the early 70's. Nice, I'm sure you'll get some nice days.

I would just drive it. Snows not going to hurt it.

Back in the 70's I had a 455SD Trans Am that I drove in the winters cause I had to. Wish I had THAT car back now. Who knew then that Muscle Cars would appreciate like they have. I used to laugh at the guy who bought a 79 10th Anniversery TA and said he was going to "put it away" and see if it would be worth more later. I often wonder how long he held onto that car.

Now I'm lucky enough to have a company car to drive so I'd rather leave the Mustang covered up in the garage for the winter. Plus driving a convertable with the top UP isn't nearly as much fun!!

I think that throwing the black Honeycomb rear decklid would compliment it too...
