So I installed a C&L street intake on my 07GT. Only thing is the DSP tuner doesn't carry the correct tunes for C&L so you have to download them and then install. Diablosport recommends using a 9-pin serial cable and a PC for the transfer.

I have tried 5 PC's. Where can you find a PC that still uses Serial ports....? All I see these days are USB ports and Diablosport says these will not work.

Try the local library computers, they are often outdated dinosaurs and should have the 9 pin vs usb

USB to Serial Port Emulators dont work with the Predator...

If you could only install the downloading software on a library computer.

They still exist. All my computers are the latest
and greatest from Dell and they all have serial ports.
What kind of computers are you using? Apples?
Most laptops worth anything still have serial ports.
Maybe DiabloSport needs to get with the program
and step up to the USB device interface...

You know what? the above poster is absolutely right. I didn't even stop to think about it before I posted. Every computer I have, including 3 different laptops still have serial ports. If yours doesn't, just ask a friend. They're everywhere.

lol thanks, but I need it. It's the cheapest tuner money can buy. I'd only be losing money by selling it.

And you get what you pay for. The canned Diablo tunes are costing you about 5-10 RWHP less as compared to Brenspeed and AM tunes. Trash the Diablo (a.k.a. sell it to 157db) and get an SCT w/ tunes from Brenspeed or AM.

I bought my adapter kit off ebay. It was $35. for the software, the adapter and power supply. I priced them a lot of places, and this was by far the cheapest. It works well with Windows 7 or Vista.
