Default Monster tach... yay or nay

Ok well i have always liked the big tachs with the shift light and the reason is because they fit in with my car... I have a harness bar, 4 point harnesses, 3 A pillar gauges, and now a TCI ratchet shifter. I have an automatic so it didnt come with a shift light originally so this would help with the shifter install... what do you think

Unless you NEED one it comes down to personal taste. I had a reverse manual valve body TH400 with a 4K stall in my race car and I NEEDED a monster tach with a blinding shift light. My Mustang won't be needing one. They do make LED shiftlites that you can set up to work with your stock tach, so you don't have a monster tach sittin on the dash creating a blind spot.
But it comes down to personal preference. If you like it then do it.

no need for that tach, you have a perfectly good tach already... Now a bright as the sun shift light on the other hand, perfectly resonable if your looking for that.

No.... No offence your're moving closer to a ricer... Harness bar, harnesses, and all the gauges but still have like 190rwhp.

Looks faster then it is!

I voted no. An out of dash monster tach with shift light might have been cool during the '80s (or whenever those old school street guys used to put them in their cars), but today, they look rice.

If anything, I say just get a shift light and mount that on your A-pillar somewhere with your other gauges so your don't have to look down from the windshield
