the back seats between a coupe and a vert are massively different. the rear seats in a vert are nothing but some foam, a hard plastic shell, and the vinyl. On a coupe the rears have hinges, a frame, and release mechanisms so they can fold. they simply will not interchange nor will the covers. my 05 was a vert and my 10 is a couple so i have seen both up close and personal and i removed the vert seats on more than one occasion. as for the fronts, I'm not sure the difference there. i suspect it may have something to do with rollover but IDK, they do look the same but if they have different covers something has to be different. it could simply be that the very seats are not as aggressively bolstered, who knows. ford doesn't seem to think vert owners drive hard, hence the difference in wheels on the GT500 and other stuff. i suspect it might be somehtign to do with where and how the side airbags deploy.
