Talking New Wheels!!! And a Warning of Too Much Camber...

I went and ordered a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels in matte gunmetal sized 18x9.5 all around with 275/40/18 Falken 452s. I did this for a few reasons.

1) I wanted to mix it up and switch wheels

2) I grew weary of the harsh ride of my 20s.

3) I wanted to be able to rotate tires (even if it is just front and back)

4) I needed new tires

When I changed my oil, I noticed that the insides of my front tires had prematurely worn out, and I could see the bands that lie under the tread. I apparently have some serious camber problems, even though I was told by my alignment center that I was in spec (I am lowered on H&R Race Springs ~1.5" drop). Anyways, for Christmas I got a nice set of camber plates from American Muscle that I will be installing this weekend so that I don't destroy another set of tires. I'll post pictures of the worn out tires later.

Worn out tires!

Anyways, pictures of my new wheels!

I absolutely love those rims... They look really good on your ride.

Didn't you have the CS40's on your car before?

From what I've read and experienced myself, the Falken 452's unfortunately do that. Mine are doing the same thing on my 18x9 rims but I make sure to rotate them often to try and minimize it.

Running Falken FK-452 255/35ZR20 on the fronts with the Steeda Sport Springs and HD Strut Mounts, no tire issues....

Jasper those look great!

If you don't mind, where did you get them from?

How much camber do you have? Camber isn't usually the problem. I would get your toe checked, that is what usually causes severe tire wear.
