It shouldn't be an issue on the 5.0. Ford actually fixed the poor spark plug design on the 4.6 starting in '08.

Black smoke
Your post is so illiterate that it's hard to understand what your saying, Spell check would be nice.
Your opinion on plugs is probably in a different direction than most people and those people could give a rat's *** what you think also.
Typing crap at your computer screen makes you feel like a real tough guy, you run and hide when confronted by a actual human.

Try to go easy on the guy; as bad as his grammar might be, he is a good kid.
Rather inquisitive too, but that is a good thing. It shows he is willing to jump in and learn and is not afraid to ask, despite is poor typing, LOL

That is great to know. I was afraid that the 5.0 Coyote would also be plagued with the same problems. Too bad that the 07 & earlier 4.6L plugs were not to par for changing duties. Why the hell would those things break anyway? Are they required to be torques down way more tightly than what they are designed to take?

2 piece plug designs aren't a problem if they don't fit into a cylinder head with a design issue like the 05-08 heads have.

Since OP's have 70K on them I would put a one piece plug in and forget about it.

Furd revised the heads on the 09+ cars.

I run the champions and have 15,000 miles on them...no problems.

They break because the sleeve above the electrode fits rather tightly into the cylinder head and carbon deposits cement it in place. TERRIBLE design, but easily remedied with 1 piece plugs. I still run two-piece plugs myself. The autolite HT0s just have a better reputation for my power level and mods.
