Default Re-tinted the taillights. I LOVE THEM!!!

Well, I decided to to strip and re spray the tails. took me 1 straight day.

They do look dark, but when I turn the lights on, they are very visible, and when I hit the brakes, they are bright.

Here are the pics

if you want a finish like this, then it may be a bit challenging. but if you take your time, it will be fine.

a lot of sanding my friend...

1000 grits to roughen the surface before applying the VHT Nightshade.

2000 grits between coats. I only used 1 THICK coat of clear and sanded it after an overnight drying session. sand till orange feel look is completely gone. and then use any scratch remover. Be generous and at least 10-15 minues buff the heck out of it until the white compound goes away. Repeat that process one more time. And then wax it. You are done. I use meguars cleaner wax.

that's some of the best tinted tails I've seen in a long time. And if they light up as bright as you say they do, then congrats and great work.

I just went out to a grocery store, and thought I would snap a pic with the parking lights on.

When you hit the brakes, they are brighter obviously.
