Default Winter Tires

I'm not about to ask what winter tire I should pick, from what I hear the Blizzak LM60s are great tires to help winter functionality with the mustang.

However, my question is if you guys have a suggestion as to where to pick them up. I'd like to buy online but the obvious choices (discount tire, tire rack, etc) seem to either be sold out of them or in tire racks case, they have 2 tires left. If you have any ideas that would be great. Unfortunately this winter is just such a giant mess here in IL that I know I should just invest in the winter tires.

If those you mentioned are out, just exhaust all other on-line outlets. Not much else to say other than let your fingers do the walking and check locally within XX miles.

Have you considered any other brands? I put Firestone Winterforce (highly rated on tirerack) on my son's Camry in PA. He loves them.

I have looked into other options, the issue seems to be that everybody is no longer restocking winter tires so a lot of them are getting sold out already like on tire rack and it's only leaving crazy expensive options.

So far the only set of tires I've found in my tire size is Dunlop SP Wintersport 3Ds which look good, but the set runs somewhere over $900. It seems like people don't want to sell mustang owners winter tires right about now lol.

you are just way to late to the ballgame, when Nancy got hers put on a couple months back the guy at discount said they were already running low. You need to have 17 inch wheels to. selection sucks for 18's

I would've thought with at least 3 more winter months here that they would still have willing customers but apparently not. Lol guess I'm going to be slipping and sliding for the rest of the winter probably

if you had 17s tire rack has the blizzaks for 158 each

you can get a set of 17s for under 400 shipped of ebay too. i actually have a set of 17s cobra Rs i would sell for 450 shipped in chrome. They would only be good for winter or track use though. they were used for 2 winters and took some abuse because of that

Pee Donk
Don't invest in winter tires, invest in a winter car. Maybe a bronco or a blazer or a jeep. If you have t drive that Blue Lagoon in the winter, Get the biggest deepest tread, ugliest, fattest tire that will fit in the wheel well. You only need 2 by the way.
