WHEEL SPACER ADVISE
#11
BTW Diabolical, if those tires of yours had white lettered sidewalls, I'd have wet dreams about your car.
Oh, who am I kidding... I already do...

*Also, to the "hub-centric" crowd:
It should be noted that, contrary to popular belief, the hubs of our cars are NOT load-bearing. The entire weight of the car is carried on the lugs. The wheel-bearings carry a load, but there is minimal contact between the wheel itself and the hub protrusion (that is why it is rusty and not shiny). This is the case on almost ALL cars. The "hub-centric" spacers are just a way to idiot proof the installation. Heck even the OEM wheels for our cars have plastic centering rings and self-centering lugnuts. As long as you torque in a proper pattern, your wheels will center fine even on non-hubcentric spacers.
The terms "hub-centric" or "lug-centric" have nothing to do with what bears the load of your vehicle. It is only of interest to the tire-shop because it changes the method used when balancing your wheels.
But, if hub-centric is your preference, then no-harm-done... those work fine too.
