First day I got the car I took a trip without a destination. Ended up in Columbus, roughly a 3 hour drive if you go straight to it, took about 5 with all of my random turning. I love my car!

I don't think I've ever driven a new car very far the first day, probably because we usually end up taking delivery on a weekday after work.

Once there's a few hundred miles on the clock, there's no thought given to not piling up the miles. Up to ~100,000 miles, anyway.

I love driving my car so much that every single day after I took possession of my car, I drove it!

I have to admit, the driving experience of the S197 to me is awesome, especially compared to the weenie cars I drove before.

The only other cars tat would outclass my pleasure of the S197, for me at least, would be a high dollar car. Other than that, to me, the S197 is the best pony car.

I drove straight home from the dealership and took about 400 pictures (sure felt like 400). And although she isn't my DD, it was within a few days that I began driving her 800+ miles round trip about every 2 weeks.

My first day I put about 200 miles on her, although that's partially because I had to pick it up about 2 hours away and then after that I just had fun driving it around and showing it off to everybody

16 months and 24,000 miles later, this car still puts a smile on my face. I can't think of a better thing to do with a few spare hours...
(Not involving my wife, of course!)

I've had mine since Dec, 2006, still get a woody every time I drive her, hell I just like listening to the exhaust when she is idling. A little over 70k on the odometer.
