Default Keeping Exhaust Tips Clean?

Any ideas for this? I have a brand new Pypes Mid-Muffler system, and the tips have lost their luster already. I tried scrubbing them with a microfiber when I was washing, but no luck there.

Thanks,

HT

Before I sold my old roush exhaust, I cleaned up the tips with brillo. Didnt seem to scratch or anything and actually cleaned them up nice.

I use turtle wax chrome polish. It's like $1.00 at Walmart. Works great.

Cool. I've had a rough experience with Brillo. For some reason, I assumed it wouldn't scratch my headlights. So I used one to try and get the bugs off...not pretty, unless you like swirly scratch marks. That was on my V6, so the new ones are fine, but it scares me a bit. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Oh, here's some before/after pictures I found when I was buffing my friend's car.

Looks like I used some kind of Mother's polish on these, but really any chrome polish will work to get all that black sut and **** off. I just used an old applicator pad and rubbed it on there.

Same here, it's not the best stuff in the world but it's cheap and it does make it look good. That's probably the only turtle wax product I'd ever use though lol.
