So I'm gonna buy some Tokico springs/struts, and some 18's with more meat on the tire.
I know the 20's are heavy too, so that otta help out a bit. Was doin some talkin at the Scwab tire shop, they were tellin me most folks who drive with 20's on for 5 or more years, kinda flaten out the suspension anyways. Who knows right? But I know there are some nice lookin 18's out there too. So why not?
What springs are your running, sportlines?

To keep your 20's, have you thought about just adding a spring that doesn't "slam" your car so far to the ground, which will also give you a better ride, even with the low profile tires. I've had several sets of 20" wheels between my GT and now GT500....ran Steeda springs on the GT and now Eibach Pro-Kit on the GT500. While the ride is definitely stiffer than stock, being lowered and on 20's, for me, the car just feels "planted" to the road.

As far as weight, it just depends on the wheels. My Alcoas only weight between 33-35lbs each.

Black 18's all the way. Muscle cars need meat on the tires.

I loved my black rims, but when they are the slightest bit dusty they looked terrible.
All in all they held up well, but I didn't have them for very long. Personally, I think a lighter color is easier to take care of.
