Default Yet another rim question lol

I have been looking at different rims, and though I didnt really want 20's I seem to like the way the shelby cs69 rims look. But does anyone know how much they weigh? I dont want to buy rims that are going to make my car feel sluggish and not handle as good. Also late model restoration lowered the price of them so they seem to be even more appealing now

o0o0o **** late model restoration is having a sale on all their rims!!!! The RTR's are only $1800!!! Goddammittttt makes my decision even harder lol

I have narrowed down my choices to the Shelby cs69's, Black brembo wheels, or the RTR's. I would like to order which ever ones I decide ASAP before the sale ends. Let me hear some opinions!

20's will make the ride more harsh for sure. They'll seem ok at first but then they'll start to wear away at you. You'll get tired of feeling every bump in the road and fear every pothole you come across. That sums up my whole experience with them and that's why I went back to 18's. The ride is so much better now.

I mean I have 19's now so how much of a difference will 20's really make. I am just worried about them being too heavy. I know the RTR's are 26lbs each, the brembos are 30lbs each, and I cant find the weight on the CS69 Shelbys

I cant find the page now but those cs69 wheels in 18 are about 28 pounds each last I saw. Take into account the extra size and probably 30ish lbs each. The 18" nurburgrings are 21 lbs each.

Damn that pretty heavy. I guess those are out of the question cause Im sure the 20's are probably atleast 35lbs. Now its either the track pack wheels or the RTR's. I used to love the TSW's but I like how the RTR's have more of a curved face

dude, I'm gettin rid of my 20's. love how they look, but it's worn me out. ride is just too stiff and hard on me. even hit a big bump and busted my borla exhaust hanger. anyways, I'm shoppin for some 18's right now.

love the Foose, just not the price. we'll see.

Unfortunately I hear this alot, and see alot of people going from 20" to 18" =/.

Right now I am between the RTR's and the black Brembo wheels & I would like to make a decision and order by the end of the week. Any suggestions anyone?

According to the UPS shipper, my Shelby CS40s with tires weighed 50lbs up front (20x9 w/ 255/35/20) and 58lbs in the back (20x10 w/ 275/35/20). The rears now have 285/30/20 tires so they probably weigh slightly more now.

Also, they are for sale!
