Love mine! Never had a single issue. You cant beat putting the top down to hear the exhaust better.

Like everyone here I also like dropping to top when I can. Here in CA I can quite often. Mine is an 2005 and I am one of those with the top seperating from the rear window on the passenger side. Its so bad water is leaking in. Its a good thing I live in SoCal or the whole car would be filled with water. I'll try to get a pic. Other than that the motor still works well, its pretty quiet. Overall, Im happy with it

Love my Vert and haven't had any issues with it. I've owned several other convertibles in my time, Chrysler, Jaguar, Cadillac and out of all of them, this Mustang has given me the least trouble and also is the quietest cabin with the top down. Can still hear music or hold a conversation with the top down, admittedly I'm happily surprised.

Had my 2004 for almost 3 years and Love it. My father has a Vette Vert and I have to say Mines quieter with the top up. I honestly can imagine not having a vert now, but I do have a jeep I drive a lot of the time too.

Mine does find its way threw a car wash time to time when I don't have time to wash it myself. Normally I have a drip at both windows while running it threw but its not a major.

Other than that no problems at all.

Never put ANY car through an automatic car wash unless it is completely touchless, and even then, try to avoid it.

I love it! I have an '05 GT convertible with less than 30K miles on it and no issues with the top at all. Just like new. You can hear the wind blowing more especially at higher speeds, but nothing ridiculous.

I love having the option of top up or down as I use the car as my daily driver - granted I live in South Florida so have the luxury of deciding as weather is usually not a swaying factor.

While I am outside your range of years (2010) My roof has 3 layers, outer shell, Inner lining, and a layer of insulation in the middle. Ours is nearly as quiet as a sedan. My friend and neighbor has an Audi convertible with the single layer roof, way loud compared to our Mustang. The Mustang convertible with the top up is quieter than my Corvette Coupe Targa Top with the top on.

Then again, a corvette is like 10 times louder then a 2010 V6.......
