Is there a car that is going to take as big a hit as the 2010 GT/V6?
I think these cars are going to lose a lot of value with the major upgrades made in 2011. In a couple of years everybody will want a 2011 or newer Mustang. I'd like to get a GT too, the 2011/12 version.

Boy howdy, Onegoal, you sure sound like a broken record.
"How much for a newer 'Stang?" "Loan questions about a newer GT?"
How many different ways are you going to ask the same question?
The price you are seeing, from $25K -$29K is about right, nationally average, with some fluctuations depending on where you are located at.
More importantly, you will get a better deal buying directly from the owner than from a used car sales lot. The used car lots tack on at least $2000 over NADA estimated price.
As many of us have said to you hundreds of times before, Listen to your Parents!
And why are you looking for a car right now? You admitted publicly right here on MF in another thread that you only have $11,000 and no job.
Either of the following actions are what you need to do:
A) Keep your current 'Stang, it's an 06GT and that is just as good a car as a '10 GT
B) Sell your 06, and add that money to your $11K you have and buy another used 'Stang, maybe an 08 or 09 GT (forget a $25000 '10 GT)
C) You keep on saying you want the '11 GT, wait a couple more years for that to become used, and by that time, you just might have enough money to buy one.
D) Get another job, even though it will only be min wage, whatever little you earn, you can save and continue to make your $11K grow, such that in a couple more years, you could actually buy a used '11 GT and not have to take out any sort of loan.

Prices can vary greatly based off the location you are looking. Right now a 2011 GT prem is $40K plus where I am located while others say they can get them for low $30's.
Keep in mind that 100% of the forum population is going to think buying a 2010 is stupid as you could have got a 5.0 while I'd bet 80% of the non-forum population could care less if it was the 4.6 or 5.0. Take for instance an 84 corvette and an 85 corvette. 84 was the only year of the C4 with a crossfire intake. Makes less power but are generally more desirable than an equally conditioned 85 because it was a one off year.
Here's to being a red headed step child owner of a 10gt. If power is all you care about you can get used GT500 for about the same as a new 5.0.
