Default Auto function on passenger window not working.

Also, when you open the door it rolls down just a bit, but won't come back up when shut. Just a fuse or relay I'm guessing. Anyone have a link to that online service manual?

Can you control the window at all? If it works, just not the auto function, then you can probably just reset it. Get in the car, shut the door, and roll down the window keeping the switch pressed down for 3-5 seconds after the window goes all the way down. Do the same thing on the way up and it resets. I've had to do this a couple of times on mine for various reasons (window frozen with ice, wifes arm got stuck in it).

Yep, still control it with either of the switches. I'll give that a shot.

Works perfectly now. Thanks jrock!

See? Isn't having someone read you the procedure from the Owners Manual easier than looking it up yourself? What a great forum!

Give the reset a shot. Mine has also done the same thing but it was usually accompanied by the window not going all the way up. The last time it happened it was about 15 degrees outside. When my wife opened the door the window lowered like it's supposed to but didn't go back up. She drove all the way to work with the window cracked in the 15 degree weather, lol. The auto function still worked and it was slamming at the bottom. The reset fixed it.

+1 on the reset. If you've recently replaced the battery it'll sometimes require recalibration. But on rare occasions, it goes out of cal on it's own. That's what happens when all of our electronics are computer controlled.

Just had to do this myself lastnight. Pass-side window was not going all the way up when closeing the door. Just held up the button for about 3-5 sec's and all fixed.

Wow +1 for this thread. This exact problem happened to me last night. Passenger side window would not go up when I shut the door. I had to go get the keys and roll it up from inside. Also, my auto function stopped working a while back. I was afraid I'd have to take it in!
