I have a SCT X3 hand held tuner that I used on my old 2009 Mustang GT, if I get new tunes will it work for my 2011 Mustang GT?

Yes ... did you set your 2009 back to stock first? If your X3 is locked it will cost you $150 to unlock it. If it is unlocked just load up the 2011 tune ..

Yes, I set my 09 to stock before I traded it in. I may have to get a 93 race tune from American Muscle (bama). AWESOME NEWS!!!!

I was under the impression that tuners only works for one car. Or am I wrong here?

I believe its one car at a time. And the tune has to be built specifically for the car.

I also believe that there is a limit on how many different cars you can use it on, one at a time. When I bought my second hand excal 2, it had already been used on one car, mine being the second. I think If I got rid of my car, reloading the stock tune in it of course, I believe it could only be used on one more vehicle..
