Default Tach Shift Light

I've only got 2,000 miles on my 3.7 so I have kept shift points below 6000 RPM. What is the deal with the tach light turning red at redline? Do our cars do this, or only the 5.0 cars? If we have that function, is it adjustable? Can it be tailored with a bama tune?

I don't know about the 3.7L, but yes, the redline lights up read when you hit the rev limiter.

Since the 3.7L is also a '11 cat, I assume that if you bump off the redline, yours will light up too.

I am not sure if it can be adjusted just with a tune, you would have to ask a professional tuner (Bama for example) if customizing when it lights up is possible.
