Default Lower front bumper trim replacement, 2011 GT. Help!

Has anyone replaced the lower front bumper trim piece that runs from driver side to passenger side? Mine is scuffed up, a replacement part is only $115.

It looks fairly easy, if you base taking it off from the CDC chin spoiler instructions.

The piece I am talking about is shown in the picture below:

From my understanding you take off the lower valance held on by 9 bolts. Then you have 2 screws and and 2 push pins that hold in the lower trim piece, from there the trim piece will pop out.

Surely people that have switched out lower trim pieces and/or installed chin spoilers can help me out with this.

NOTE: BEING OCD WITH A NEW CAR COMPLETELY BLOWS!

After you remove the underskirt, you will have the 2 pins and 2 screws, 1 of each per side. Then it has a crap load of plastic tabs holding it in to the bumper. Get a couple of them started out on one end and then it pulls out.
Now would be a good time to do the CS lower valance.
To bad you are so far away, I have a brand new 1 in my basement.

What is a good way to get the plastic tabs started? Is this a delicate process, I don't want to break anything.
Thanks man!

Siber, I see you have a V6. Is this process the same?
