Default Koni SRT.T review?

Yes, i know they are popular and many people love them, but im having a hard time finding helpful reviews on them. (Hoping Mr. Strano pops in).
My car is a daily driver. Im a very "spirited" driver and looking for better handling performance. I live in SoCal and drive the canyons very often. I also have interest in attending some track days maybe 2-3 times a year.

*I want to improve the 'turn-in' of the car, having the car stay planted in the turn and while achieving high speeds in the turn.*

I would love to hear some testimonials/reviews from fellow MF'rs on the Steeda Sport/Koni STR.T setup.

any experience on this topic is helpful!

thanks

I have been very satisfied with my set up, rides good, handles better, there really is very little trade off in the ride quality, but the handling is much better. During spirited driving I used to get a sense of a little bit of float, that feeling is pretty much gone, sure if you encounter a bump mid corner the tail is still going to feel a bit skidish but I think that could be attributed to the solid rear axle, not sure. Pitch under hard acceleration and braking is also gone, at high speeds the car feels planted and stable. Overall I am very satisfied with my suspension set up of Steeda sport springs, steeda HD strut mounts and Koni STR.T shocks.

How far did that drop your car? Do you have any problems going over speed bumps or anything?

I'm on a 1.5" drop with the strt's and have no issues at all with speed bumps.

If you are going to be doing some track days, you might want to consider stepping up to the yellows so you can have some adjustment to help dial in the car to where you are more comfortable with it.

About an inch in the front, and a little less than 1.5 in the back, while I can't barrel over them anymore, I have no problems with clearance.

Cool, this is going to be a mod I look at doing this summer, I just wanted to make sure they weren't going to give me problems. I do have a classic chin spoiler, so I'll have to watch out a little I guess, but I don't think it will be that much worse than not having it.
