Well, all the replies have been somewhat helpful...mostly entertaining. I bought the car lowered and in Hawaii OEM parts aren't really available; and if they are they are often more than what I'd like to pay. I like the idea about spring spacers...but if I can score some stock springs easily I'll go that route.
Good catch yourmyboybh1026 - it is a military move I'm planning. I will have to pay to ship one of my cars and I may just keep looking for a shipper that doesn't have that clearance restriction.
