Default Will these rims fit my stock tires?

I am looking at getting these rims http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...10-GT500-Wheel

I wanted to know will it fit my stock 18" tires? The tires only have 2000 miles on them and would hate to have to buy new tires.

if your stock wheels are 235's then i wouldnt be comfortable doin it. WILL it fit? Yea you could stretch the hell outta the sidewall but it wouldnt be safe/look right.

Craigslist is a great place to sell stock stuff and brings a good amount of money.

235's is about the minimum tire width you can put on most 9.5" wheels but IMO it'll look pretty darned gay. That wheel is just beggin' for 255's up front and about 285's or so in back.

I would sell the stockers and buy new tires unless you need them for a winter set. A 235 would be stretched too much on a 9.5 rim, wouldn't be safe.

The OE 8.5" wide wheels are already at the maximum recommended width for 235/50 tires. I might stretch them out to 9's, but I wouldn't go any further than that. And I'm the guy for whom the "stretched tire appearance factor" doesn't matter if the handling is responsive.

Thanks for the input. What tire would you buy?

I've got the 18" 2008 GT500 wheels, with Goodyear Asymmetrics in 255/45 on them. Put them on for about a month late last fall before it just got too cold for those (summer) tires. Very sharp turn-in and cornering response, but in the cold weather rear cornering grip in particular could be better (the car gets tail-happy too easily if I use a little too much throttle too early in a corner). I'll probably end up tweaking the sta-bars (Sam's adjustables) if warmer weather doesn't settle the rear down.

They wont fit.
Sell your 2000 mile tires and rims as a package.
They will be easier to unload that way.
Sorry, but you gotta pay to play...

I jammed some 255/45-18s on my stock 8.5" wide rim.
Wore them out and went back to the 16" stockers for the winter.
Just cant stand the high profile 16"ers so its 275/40-18s in the future.
