That sucks, OP. Its cool your Dad wanted to help though.
I'm sure he feels like crap. Poor guy, I'm sure you two can figure something out.
After all, even though your car is gorgeous, your dad was just trying to help. Don't make him feel too bad.

Atleast its repairable damage.. by the look of the thread title I was expecting pics of a wrecked stang again.. good thing it's no where near that

update:

well we went back out there and yes it is way past repair, so he called up his paint guy at a body shop and he is paying for the trunk to get repainted, and he felt so bad he is taking a pair of side skirts i have hanging in the garage waiting for paint in with the trunk to get them shot for me as well!

I think he is just glad i didnt flip out haha, and he feels super bad. I told him it isnt a huge deal and that i get what he was trying to do...

But everything turned out, and as for pics ill see what i can get, but idk if my camera is going to pick up flat to gloss transitions.

Chalk it up to one of those "MODS GONE WRONG". Most likely, there'll be more.
