Default Fender Badges

The Previous owner replaced the badges on my car with GT ones.

Ive decided to revert it back to what it should be

I picked up two fender badges and the rear pony badge for 22.50 as a package deal on ebay and 10 for shipping not a bad deal.

Couple questions

1. The fender badges both of them look bent, is this how they are suppose to look? i can post pics if needed.

2. Whats the best and safest way to remond the GT fender badges and the rear faux badge. Im almsot certain there is no pin holes holding the GTs on but i could be wrong.

looks like they got bent when the guy took them off the old Mustang.

i installed some badges on my old fox and had to file down the pins in the back of the badge.
i just sawed them off and used a file to get it flat. then 3M tape it to the Mustang.

Is there no way to bend them back into shape?
If you don't have a pony package, then you wouldn't have to put badges back on it.
That might be handy until you figure out how to get the tri bars to work.

Is the bend to fit the contour of the fender?

That's what I was thinking Nuke. The fender does have a slight curve to it. But I can't see the pics at work.

The fender badges should have pins. There should also be holes in your fender were the old ones were ? or bodywork has been done.
