Default Holy 50 dollar fill up

Well, it's that time again where gas prices are climbing even quicker. Yesterday the cheapest I could find around East Orlando was $3.35 for unleaded and it jumped to $3.49 today.

I've already called around to get installation quotes for 3.73s and a T-loc because I'm saving some money to get these two upgrades, but now it looks like this will be put on hold. Between being a student and having to pay for rent, food, gas, and going out, it's looking like I won't have a heck of a lot of disposable income in the near future if gas goes up to $4-$5 bucks a gallon in the summer.

Anyone else in the same situation as me? And does anyone else think that the regular excuses that China's growing oil dependence and Mid-East turmoil are causing the rise in price is garbage? That it's just OPEC being OPEC? Sorry if this seems like an unnecessary rant.

You guys better be great full cause i just filled up in Canada and it cost me 70 to fill up. Gas is 5.20/Gal for 91 grade gas. Gas is always way cheaper in the states as oppose to Canada. The irony is that we produce our oil from the Alberta Oil Sands and then sell to the United States and then it gets refined and sold back to us at a retarded prices. Is it me or is something wrong with this picture.

Last I checked 93 octane was 3.75 here. I'm easily going through $15/day not even driving far at all. Sucks

Last fill up was 52$, 3.55$ for 87oct.

I'll spend 400$ in gas this week. (~3,000 miles...yes, not a misprint)

It is in the 3.64 to 3.69 range here in the Atlanta area for premium. I'm just thankful the wife and I can split each week on fill ups. Her's one week, mine the next. We made sure when we moved to Atlanta 15 years ago, to live near our jobs. I really feel for all of you with long commutes. My wife and I couldn't do much of anything if our commutes were 30 or more miles round trip! I think it's all pressure to build and buy more electric cars. Then our Electric bills can TRIPLE, instead of worrying about the price of gas!
