I bought it for the looks lol and yes for that price you can't go wrong. I doubt it will do anything worthwhile unless I do a complete suspension overhaul.

i agree on the scrawniness of it. I dont feel like it would do much. Id rather go with something like this:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/strut-brace-0509.html
at the very minimum. even if it is more the 2x as much. as far as mods go, thats cheap. and unless youre cornering pretty darn hard in races and your car is already pretty decked, id put my money toward other things first

youll notice on in a vert way more so than the coupe. If youre a corner carver then you may notice it at a minimum. the fr500c cars dont even have the brace. the s197 chassis is pretty rigid from the get go.

it may help some. the s197 is still a unibody frame, it can still benefit from body stiffening.
but if you dont road race, or auto-x, then its just for looks. which isn't a bad thing either.

Seemed to tighten up the vert, well worth it imo

Like lime said above the ford race cars don't use them and I'm pretty sure that's not because a regulation. Seems like someone tested it out and said the towers actually move front to rear more than side to side so a subframe box of some type would probably do more. That being said I have the stock bar on mine. But since the wife told me she was pregnant which changed my mind on going supercharged, my brace will probably be replaced with a boss intake(if the tuners can work the torque issue a little more).

That looks a lot like the GT500 strut tower brace, which I have on mine. I noticed it very slightly improved the tightness of the front end. Plus it looks good
