Default Steering Wheel Leather

Thought I would pass this along...

One of the things I've always disliked about my 06 GT is the slippery leather steering wheel (especially in cold weather). I ended up ordering a leather cover from wheelskins.com and I am extremely pleased.

This isn't a cheap cover like you get from the auto store, it's a very nice quality leather cover and it has a great tactile feel. The install process was a little tedious with needing to use a needle and thread, but the results are well worth it. Appearance-wise, it looks just fine...not tacky at all. The extra grip makes it so much easier to drive the the stiff Mustang steering with a more relaxed hand pressure.

Used those on several of my old cars, they are worth the price. Just don't like the way they cover the spokes.

Only thing I don't like about it is the spokes transition as someone else said but honestly that does look pretty great, and looks more comfortable than the harder/tighter leather of the factory and of course the rubber wheel. Good work on that stitching! Definitely more complicated than I would've been able to achieve lol

Thumbs up Wheelskins

I too have used Wheelskins and yes, they're a very good product. Orders of magnitude better than other wheel covers.
