The day has finally come!
I am so excited I can barely contain myself.
I've been slowly acquiring parts for my rear axle and I finally have them all. It's been a while, but I feel like it's well worth the wait. So, on November 30th, I can take my car up to my local gear shop and have everything put in!! Only letting them put in the axle, I'll put in the suspension parts myself.
Rebuild Kit, 3.73 FRPP Gears, FRPP Cover, FRPP T-Lok LSD
FRPP N-Springs (I would have posted the D-Specs, but the picture was too big)
Jounce Stops, J&M Camber Plates, Cobra Flange, J&M Steel PHB
My question for you guys is whats the proper method of breaking in the gears. I've read many different things of the "hot and cold" cycles, but when I asked the gear shop, he said I should drive slowly for the first 25 miles and then I can beat the hell out of it.
I don't want to mess anything up and put my car back in the shop, so what do you guys recommend?
